TN Governor’s School for the ARTS and TN Governor’s School for the SCIENCES

TN Governor’s School Applications are now available for the brightest and most talented 10^th and 11^th graders.  Students will be selected by the state to attend this challenging and high-intensity summer residential program that will be located at several college campuses across the state of Tennessee. To be eligible, students should be ranked in the top of their high school class or should be highly talented in the arts.   

The TN Governor’s Schools offer gifted and talented high school students intensive learning experiences in 12 different programs.  Students can apply for one or more of the following programs:  1) Humanities, 2) Sciences, 3) Fine Arts, 4) International Studies, 5) Scientific Exploration of Tennessee Heritage, 6) Prospective Teaching, 7) Emerging Technologies, 8) Engineering, 9) Information Technology Leadership, 10) Agricultural Sciences, 11) Computational Physics and 12) Scientific Models and Data Analysis.
